Episode 20 - S1.E20

Despite Hsiao-chun's dissuasion, Chow Yung decides to go alone to kill Wei-lun, so that the others would not be endangered. Lei Kang is not to let it happen. He hits Chou hard, so that in his unconsciousness, Lei can go alone for Wei-lun. He fails, and is fatally wounded by Wei- lun's followers. Chou Yung comes to help, but cannot surpass Wei-lun's ambush. At this point, Pei-chi leads the Ching Lung Clan to rescue Chou and the others.

Lei Kang dies, and Chou vows vengeance. Pei-chi suggests co-operation with Chou. Though suspicious of Pei-chi's sudden rise as the head of Ching Lung Clan, Chou agrees.

Pei-chi tells the French Consulate about Wei-lun's helping the Japanese smuggle explosives. The French Consulate decides to close down Wei-Lun's bank. Wei-lun learns the news and attempts to reconcile with Pei-chi, who refuses.

Instead, Pei-chi makes a deal with the Japanese, who would help her kill Wei-lun……
