Discovering by chance the bandits’ whereabouts, WEI-NAN secretly informs the police, leading to the arrest of the bandits, and gets a reward.

WEI-NAN and his family are facing eviction as a result of the landlord's plan to repossess the premises for reconstruction. WEI-NAN finds TUNG KANG to be the landlord and developer when he comes to thank WEI-NAN for his bravery, having read this in the paper. When WEI-NAN refuses to accept money from him, TUNG KANG agrees to give up the reconstruction plan to allow them continued occupation of the premises, much to the delight of all.

TUNG KANG and HSUEH-YEN pair off to attend the cocktail party for the opening of HSUEH-YEN's cosmetics company. HSIU-CHU deliberately attends it in full dress against TUNG KANG's objection, to exhibit her identity as his wife, much to the embarrassment of HSUEH-YEN……
