Once when Wei-nan is on duty, he saves a girl regardless of his own life. He is appreciated and becomes a C.I.D. too.
Wen-ching is surprised and embarrassed when she finds that there is something between Hsueh-yen and her father. But knowing the true fact, she admires her.. Seeing that they are so friendly with each other, Hsiu-chu wants to marry Wen-ching to a rich man. Wen-ching is angry with it and brings Wei-nan home to show her standpoint. Although Tung Kang is happy to know it, he is afraid that Wei-nan is so honest that he may do wrong to him. Therefore he bribes Wei-nan with a flat.
