The staff celebrate the anniversary of the centre with a cake that Brittas made. Due to a gypsy curse placed upon him, everyone who has a piece dies shortly after eating it. Julie contemplates marriage, there is a build-up of marsh gas in the centre, and Carole makes a devastating discovery. After being pecked unconscious by a bird, Brittas wakes up to find that him managing the centre was all a dream, and he is actually on his way to his job interview.
