Their two opponents, Tim Raue and Max Strohe, are treating them to a Chinese Christmas like they have never experienced before! However, as the challenge on culinary unknown terrain is already hard enough for the two of them, they are saving them a long journey and sending them to Tim Raue's favorite restaurant in Munich.

This Christmas will be very family-like for Tim Raue and Max Strohe! In the beautiful Apulia on the Adriatic coast in Mattinata, the two will be served a traditional Italian Christmas menu - by a nonna, just like in the books. But the nonna is none other than the mother of Tim Mälzer's good friend and two-star chef from the "bianc" in Hamburg, Matteo Ferrantino.
