Lynne Franks is the PR (public relations) guru many believe to be the inspiration for Edina in Jennifer Saunders' hit BBC comedy Absolutely Fabulous. However, she has renounced the showbiz set in favour of meditation and a New Age lifestyle which she is promoting through self-help books. But when the BBC cameras spend a day in her company, her new-found serenity is sorely tested when one of her valuable plates is broken.
