Selma Lagerlöf is world-famous and the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. She earns huge sums of money but is not allowed to vote. But she has the power to tell her story! And with it, she changes herself and the world. She becomes the pioneer of suffrage and her stories lay the foundations for the golden age of Swedish cinema. After the First World War, she sees history repeating itself for the next, but never stops believing in the power of love to change. She farms at Mårbacka and practices yoga, letting her inner creative being guide her pen to the very end.
