Jo tells his friend, Kin Ting, about his misfortune of a broken marriage. Kin has arranged his wife, Debbie, to go to the States for emigration purpose while he stays 'in Hong Kong to earn the living. The two friends share their sympathy. Pui Yee hires a private detective to collect evidence against Jo so as to apply to court for a divorce. She also tries every means to retain the right of having her son, Man Man, to stay with her. Having a high regard of Fong Ling's ability, Kin Ting invites her to work as art director at his film company. She works in the same team as Mei Ki and though she is humble to learn, Mei Ki often tries to embarrass her. Yee Kan tries to save the marriage between Jo and Pui Yee but to no avail. In order to have more chance to see her grandson, she let Pui Yee...
