LAI and TSIN have a discussion on military tactics based on historical facts. LAI asks TSIN how to react in a particular scenario and he tries to bolster TSIN’s confidence by letting him win the debate. CHAI who has overheard their conversation thinks so highly of LAI. To make LAI join his government, CHAI decides to kill TSIN. CHAI meets TSU TAT in secret in order to plot the murder of TSIN.
