KIT was brought up in an orphanage. As he had come across some undesirable elements, he became a drug addict. In order to get money to buy drugs, he robbed the others. He was condemned imprisonment.

KIT has refrained from taking drugs but for his criminal record, it is hard for him to find a job. Therefore he works as a tender in a hostel. While he is working, he meets his former classmate YING who now works as a part-time prostitute. In the past, KIT admired YING and thus now he has a chance to approach her, he courts her and they live together.

Later KIT finds that YING is also a drug addict. He gives her support, hoping that she can give up the bad habit. However he does not want to see her suffer. He borrows money from TUNG. TUNG suspects him and follows him. Wl1en TUNG knows what has happe.ned, he convinced KIT to send YING to hospital.
