While chatting with her cousin, Sau Yin finds herself attracted by Tung Man. She then tries to stay close to him. Knowing that Sau Yin has a fortune, Lap Tak first wants to woo her and later withdraws as he finds out that Sau Yin has a passion to Tung Man.

After supper with Sau Yin, Tung Man finds himself in short of cash and asks Sau Yin to pay the bill. Sau Yin first suspects that Tung Man is a crook, but later she knows she is wrong as Tung Man returns the money back to her. Not until his family hint him does Tung Man realize that Sau Yin likes him. Because of his poverty, he does not have the courage to chase Sau Yin. After the encouragement by his family, he decides to woo her.
