NG SHUI KUE often feels guilty for letting her husband sold her son years ago. Money seems cannot compensate the loss that KUE suffers. She buries herself with wine and gambling in order to get rid of the unhappiness.

One day, KUE cheats in playing the mahjong and captures by a policeman, YAU KA KIT. The adopted daughter of KUE, FONG YEE LIZ helps KUE to escape and injures. She faints. KUE is so worried and puts the blame on KIT.

KIT is an orphan and he understands the torture of loneliness. When he realizes the story of KUE, he feels pity for her and they begin to build up a close relationship.
