Just weeks before Christmas, in the sleepy town of Early, Iowa, two men break into the home of Tracey Richter and attack her while her children hide in a nearby bedroom. Tracey shoots and kills one of them in the process, claiming self-defense. But as investigators look closer at the case, something about her story just doesn't add up.
