At a political gathering, JJ is stunned to learn that Mrinalini is the new Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. Akshay and Niharika's relationship flourishes, but Niharika feels guilty for Akshay's health issues, knowing she revealed JJ's involvement in his mother's murder. Dushyant's wife accues him of domestic violence, and Niharkia agrees to represent him in exchange for making Juris Associates the exclusive firm for Jinglepur Industries. Eventually, Puneet and Niharika part ways as partners.
