Ash tries to persuade Adi not to blame Tariq for Dan's mistakes but Adi isn't prepared to welcome him into the family so easily. Elsewhere, Ian gets a bee in his bonnet about drainage problems, for which he blames Kate's nail bar. Unable to bear his whinging, Kate yells at him - and he feels a twinge of guilt when he hears her devastating news. Alfie catches everyone in the Vic armed with cake, balloons and banners. Far from amused, he leads Kat off for a quiet word.
