Part I: Tales of a Distant Past - S2.E1 - The House in Fata Morgana
The wicked lord holds his sword high above a bloody and battered girl. But as he prepares to swing the blade down upon the young saint's neck, a revolt breaks out, and she is rescued in the ensuing chaos. The instigator of the revolt, a young man, takes the girl in, but her trauma from the lord's torture has taken root too deeply, and she remains closed off.
Only after years of a normal life is she at last able to cast off the cross of "sainthood" and find happiness with the people who care so much about her. But revolution is brewing in the slums she now calls home...
