DS Phil Hunter and DC Eva Sharpe follow separate lines of enquiry when investigating a young prostitute who's been stabbed. Phil believes that a young schizophrenic is responsible but Eva takes the time to delve deeper and uncover the actual perpetrator. But an unorthodox interview with a bailed suspect lands her in a life-threatening situation with corrupt social worker, Martin Fisher (Don Gilet from Baby Father). PC Nick Klein is furious when Phil takes the credit on the case and decides to expose him once and for all. Nick puts in a call to Phil's wife but will he really tell her about Phil's secret love child Madison?
