ALAN is enraged to learn that JING has fired him. WAN blames JING for firing ALAN out of self-interests, which is not a proper action for a company leader. WAN persuades ALAN to stay and promises to help him achieving his career goals. SZE learns that WAN is protecting ALAN by all means and she feels uneasy. ALAN buys a new dress for SZE and asks her to attend WAN’s alumni gathering with him. SZE hesitates.
