Shortly after MAN’s return home, CHING comes along. According to herself, she is the daughter of LAN. LAN finally reveals her past and how she had abandoned her husband and daughter when she was younger. MAN keeps picking on YAN in the police station but is given the cold shoulder by other colleagues. LAN still has not got used to the fact that her grown-up daughter CHING is already back with her. She is so stressed out that she finally decides to flee from home. CHING would like to stay at MAN’s home and lives there as her permanent residence, which is quite a bit of a headache for MAN. MOON gets robbed but is saved by FUNG. NI goes to pick MOON up and is surprised to discover that FUNG has arranged for someone to buy MOON a late-night snack so that MOON’s wife SHUK-YIN will have no suspicion about what might have happened to him.
