As the paranoia of the watch reaches a new height, Pearce demands an explanation for their bizarre behaviour which results in a big row and him refusing to join the others when the alarm goes off. Nick gets to hear the full story, reprimands Pearce for not attending to the shout and then the whole watch for having got so carried away with their nonsense as to actually suspect a watch member of murder of his own wife.
