Jerry promises to prove Holly's innocence; Crystal covers up Tony's absence when Goddard gets persistant; the girls get anxious as things keep getting in the way of their plans; Jerry brings Holly back to the inn; Goddard flirts with Rita while looking for Tony; Cissie gets nervous when Jerry doesn't leave; the girls explain their situation to Holly; Goddard finds out that Tony hasn't been to the bait shop; Jerry works on Holly's case; Rita covers up a phone call to Tony by saying he checked out; Frances interrupts Jerry and Holly's conversation at the diner; the girls dispose of Tony's belongings and clean up the room he stayed in; while visiting Jerry at the police station, Frances discovers Holly's prison record; Patricia and Cissie try to keep Joe from going into the cellar; Crystal continues the cover up to throw Goddard off; Rita plans to get Joe's keys away from him; Frances passively harrasses Holly while she's working; Fisher questions Maria about her wanting to stay in prison
