Misawa Sanae, a newscaster for a news programme, comes to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Emergency Response Investigation Team in order to do a story on the special interrogation room where an enactment of an interrogation is underway. She feels a connection with Makabe Yukiko, the department’s only female who speaks passionately about the necessity of visualisation and being ready to fight fairly. “It seems we’ll be good friends,” she says in a loud voice and they shake hands firmly.
