Ricardo Salgado, an engineer, and an official in the Colombian Military Reserves, arrives in 1988 to work with the Cali Cartel with the “patriotic” objective of eliminating Pablo Escobar, the common enemy of the Cali Cartel ran by the Ramirez Orjuela. While in his 3 years, Salgado organizes two attempts the Medellin Cartel kingpin, but fails both times.
