In relation to the seventh season, the screening slot of Upin & Ipin has been moved to Saturday at 18.30 with the Lunar New Year story starting on March 9, 2013. The first episode of season 7 was supposed to air on March 2, 2013, but due to technical problems. Problems faced by TV9, the first episode was shown on March 9, 2013. .

The full title of this season is Upin & Ipin Season 7.

During Ramadhan (July - August), the Upin & Ipin slot moves to Saturday at 19.30.

The special episode that coincides with Hari Raya is shown on the first Idul Fitri from 15.30 - 16.00.
