Han Wangjie from Beijing arrived at Dongzhou during a critical period of reform and development. As soon as he took office, he met EU officials investigating the "EU anti-dumping case". Just as the investigation was about to begin, a typhoon suddenly hit, causing a power shortage in the entire city of Dongzhou. The municipal party committee, government and all social groups took the lead in saving electricity to ensure production and people's lives.
