Altar Boy: Flynn

Growing up a Catholic boy from a large stepfamily of seven brothers and two sisters, Flynn simply did not fit in with all his brothers and stepfather. Different. Needing something that he never got, male, fatherly attention other than yelling, telling him he did not measure up to his brothers. Flynn tried. His soul screamed! Yearning for positive male attention. Flynn’s mother loved him dearly. She knew that he was different and a change was needed to help him. Always faithful to their church parish, Flynn’s mother confided in the parish priest, explaining Flynn’s difference. One that she really did not truly understand. The parish priest, knowing Flynn, and analyzing the situation, knew. He suggested that Flynn attend the St. Peter’s Catholic School for Boys.
